Several tracks are already completed, include some story-telling and autobiographical tracks, of course with major West Coast knock.

New wave of promotion in the works...

Rok Kapone, a.k.a. Rokk Lokkart, will be hitting the streets this summer to promote his upcoming 5150 project, which B. Down is involved with as far as collaboration and production on a couple tracks. Watch for the project on Whaz NExt Entertainment, and also watch for a couple B. Down tracks to be included on the CDs that Rok will be out there promoting with.

B. Down is also in the studio working on his new solo album, which will be mostly self-produced, along with a few tracks from other producers including Poppin' Fresh and Configa (p.k.a. MC Unique). It's gonna be a banger, folks. Watch for B. Down promos to hit the streets later this year in anticipation of that album as well.

More Bay Area collaborations coming soon...

That's right... still linked up with J. Dandridge and Poppin' Fresh, so watch for more features from them on the next B. Down solo album that's in the works, and on the Independent Game, Volume 3 compilation, which should be out this summer.

Sales in Japan / Possible trip soon / Independent Game 3

That's right, more good online sales from Japan - looks like we need to plan a trip out there to help promote even more and keep the overseas buzz strong. We know they like West Coast Rap out there, so why not? Possibly later this year. We'll work out details for that later.

As far as Independent Game Volume 3 (compilation), we're gathering tracks from that from a number of artists, and should be releasing that this summer. Watch for a whole bunch of promos as we get the word out about everyone on the comp.

It's been a minute...

Things are going well, and B. Down has been in the studio recently with the folks from Whaz Next Entertainment to collaborate on beats for the upcoming Rok Lokkart project, as well as working on plans for collaborating on a number of live shows in the near future to support and promote the new releases.

We are also looking into an overseas trip to take this whole Rap Junkie thing international... more on that later.

2 Cali Emcees album coming later this year...

That's right... B. DOWN and POPPIN' FRESH have begun work on the highly anticipated 2 CALI EMCEES project that has been in the planning stages for some time now, ever since the two released the sing "2 Cali Emcees" on B. Down's "Rap Tactics" CD.

The album should be released this fall... be on the look-out.
